To be sure, the hardest time to stand up for yourself is when you're attacked, and no one is on your side.
And another note:
Sometimes cowardliness appears as bravery - and vice versa. I was about to post a comment on a photo on FB about a popular show with virtually no diversity, and held back when I thought about what my editing professor would do in this situation.
He wouldn't go to a post house's FB profile and boohoo their lack of diversity. But how is that going to change the world? How is that brave?
