Are you afraid that they are your only friend, so if they leave, you'll be alone?
What is it that you believe about your friend having other friends? What would that mean for you, if your friend had other friends? What is the perceived threat?
What were the boundaries in your family like? Do you believe the same boundaries in relation to friends? And is that healthy?
