on being called stubborn
Next time someone tells you you're stubborn, stop and think:
Are THEY in fact the stubborn ones?
It's something that never occurred to me.
In this case it was my dad saying it, and although I don't care if he thinks I'm stubborn (I just want him to leave me alone,) my fiance echoed the idea back when he said,
"Yeah, I get it. Your parents are really stubborn."
Who's stubborn now? I come by it naturally, so get out of the way.
