polling the masses out of habit
I don't know if other people do this or not, but --
I was making an observation today that when I watch a YouTube video, a TikTok, a Reel, etc. -
If it's interesting content, I often scroll down to look at the comments.
Even before *I* have fully formed an opinion.
It's a strange habit to have.
Why can't I just live in my own opinion, and be happy with it?
Do I really need to look at the audience so much?
I have perfectly good thoughts and ideas.
I don't always need to consult the masses.
Especially when it comes to personal matters.
In other news, I woke up this morning with a bad headache and the desire to kill myself. I wonder if I was dreaming about it? The headache may have come from an unplunged toilet. Funny, what we put off...
