Hey again! I really enjoy reading your diary. You remind me a lot of myself when I was younger (even though I am not that old right now-22). Anyway, I have more "wisdom" to spew. Ever since I was a kid, my mother always told me to let men chase me. I never listened. I have always been the one to do the chasing. I loved it. Since I grew up in a strict, Cuban family, women chasing men was considered slutty, so I sometimes felt dirty, but only because I was doing something that I had been taught was supposedly wrong. When I got older, I learned otherwise. When I met my current boyfriend, we kind of chased each other around. It felt nice to have a guy chase me for a change. Always keep in mind that it doesn't hurt to let the guy take the reins for a bit every now and then, just as long as you never lose sight of what YOU want. Always make YOUR thoughts clear to any man. It doesn't make you any less of a strong woman to let a man chase you a little. =) Oh, and being 21 isn't all it's cracked up to be. I used to think the same thing before I turned 21. I would say, "Yeah! I am going to go to a bar or a club and dance and blah blah blah!" Guess what? I'm 22 and I've never gone clubbing. Why? Because I figured out that it wasn't for me. It's not my scene. I've been to a jazz club, where you have dinner and enjoy a live band, and that I liked. Of course, I don't mean to imply that you yourself won't find clubbing fun. You might like it. I still plan to try it out some day, but I'd rather sit inside of Barnes & Noble and read with a cup of tea nearby. =D Oh my, sorry for the essay.
